Description

Title: �Construction � Los Padres National Forest - Brazil Ranch Improvements Description: This project will repair the building envelopes of two log cabins and a barn.� The log cabin repairs will be largely focused on removal and replacement of damaged log members.� The barn repairs will be focused on repairing roof leaks at skylight penetrations.�� Contractor shall identify, remove, and replace log members on the cabins.� This work will include ensuring the continued structural integrity of the facility and eliminating moisture and pest infiltration through the building envelop.� This will also include ensuring that Northeastern corner is restored to its proper elevation, and the adjacent window is properly secured in the wall to prevent any gaps in the envelope.� Contractor shall identify damaged portions of the roofing on the barn, adjacent to the skylights.� This work will include repairing or replacing flashing at the roof penetrations, and proper sealing of the joints Location:� Work will be performed at the Brazil Ranch, located at 39320 Coast Rd, Monterey, CA 93940.� This location is approximately 15 miles south of Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA. Basis for Award:� The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFQ Best Value-Tradeoffs:� Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process. A Site Visit is scheduled for August 31, 2021 at 10:30 am PD Meeting Location: Gate on CA Highway 1 - the coordinates are: � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �36.36347915487366, -121.89980279646055 �The site is 0.6 miles South of the Bixby Creek Bridge, 19.5 miles South of the Highway 1/Highway 68 interchange in�Monterey, 12 miles North of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park entrance, and 82.2 miles North of Cambria, CA.� RFI / Q&A Submission close shall be September 2, 2021 @ 4:00 pm PD This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.� The Small business Size Standard is NAICS Code �238190 � Other Foundation, structure, and building Exterior contractor 16.5M. The Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Davis-Bacon wages apply.
