- STATEMENT OF WORK Introduction The Robert J Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas 5500 E. Kellogg Ave, Wichita, Kansas Is requesting the purchase of an Audio/video System for the Auditorium. This is needed to provide education and training to Veterans and Staff. Background The Director�s office and Education Services are requiring a new AV system in the auditorium to replace the current system that has surpassed its life expectancy as the current equipment is extremely outdated and causing numerous problems.� It is the only onsite Veteran and Employee education facility for larger groups at the Dole VA facility.� The current system is not user friendly and requires assistance from Medical Media for operation.� This can cause issues for scheduling. It is imperative that this system must be a reliable, to provide continuous support for training, education, and special events. Statement of Work The vendor shall provide all resources (labor, materials/parts, tools, equipment, and transportation) necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). The vendor shall prepare a complete design package in accordance with the requirements outlined below. The package shall outline all pre-installation and project installation requirements, recommend utilities changes (to be completed by VA prior to contractor installation), and associated deliverables. Prior to installation date, as agreed by VA, the vendor will provide a project schedule as well as deliver, install, and train VA medical center staff on the proper use of the installed systems. The VA will provide the following: VA will install a VA-networked computer system in location designated by the vendor working with the vendor for proper placement and connection to the audio-visual system. VA IT specialists will work directly with vendor to install any needed software, accessories and updates to accommodate the audio-visual system requirements and to facilitate connections. NOTE: vendor will not have access to operate the VA computer system. All electrical will be provided by the VA to the necessary equipment to complete the install. The vendor shall remove existing equipment in good order and turn it over to COR/Project Manager. Required Equipment Audio System: the vendor is to provide a secure equipment rack with an uninterrupted power supply, providing ample room for equipment. Different digital microphone styles to accommodate users simultaneously.�� A minimum of 8 inputs required with 3 handheld and 3 lavaliers with respective charging stations. A rack mounted 4000w amplifier, with 4-6 channels to drive two positional speakers that include bass extensions located on either side of the stage. A rack mounted signal processor with up to 8 input, 8 output and 8 flex channels. A rack mounted hearing assistance transmitter system to aid Veterans with hearing disabilities to include a minimum of 4 receivers and necessary 8 in ear headphones. The ability to connect sound system to owner furnish equipment VTel system. Video System: Two video cameras used for web conferencing that will be positioned by remote control. Laser video projector with a minimum resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 with a 16:20 screen ratio A motorized, wide screen projection screen to be provided and installed over the stage. A lectern that matches the style of the auditorium. With integrated AV system control capabilities to include appropriate connection and power for accessory equipment.� Mobility is a requirement. Control System: Touch screen display control panels for the entire AV system that can be operated from the equipment rack and lectern Acoustical Panels: Acoustic panels shall be provided and installed to help improve sound quality and lessen unwanted acoustic effects. Vendor will provide suggested locations and product, best suited for the optimum acoustics for the room. The Customer will select the desired color of the acoustic panels from the manufacturer�s standard available options. Delivery & Location Information Delivery of Audio/Visual system: Robert J.
