Description

The Portland Area Indian Health Service Intends to award a single-source procurement under NAICS code 621512 Diagnostic Imaging Centers. This will be awarded�to Central Oregon Radiology Associates,�under Authority� FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), available from one source. The acquisition for radiology services is needed for continuity of care for patients that are seen in any of the local hospitals, which CORA is set-up with all of them, for interpretation readings. Period of Performance; October 1, 2021 - September 30, 2022. Based on our findings for seeking information the medical providers want to continue with CORA for Continuity of Care for the patients. CORA not only trains the Warm Springs Service Unit on the PACS cube, they train the local hospitals, keeping everyone up-to-date with changes. The medical providers have the ability to call the Radiologist when they have questions regarding the interpretation report on the same day they are seeing the patient. Another factor is the X-ray images must be available for future reference and stored digitally for 7-years and if the patient is pediatric, images must be available until the patient turns 21.� �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition is based upon seeking information and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose or determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
