Description

This project will construct operations facility improvements for the existing Joint Air Defense Operations Center (JADOC) located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock. Improvements include the purchase of a new manufactured unit operations center building, demolition of existing buildings, permanent utility, connections, perimeter security fence removal and reinstallation, High voltage transformer relocation. The new operation building will be a manufactured unit have living quarter�s accommodations for being manned 24-hours /7-days. A temporary facility for shower and toilet will be provided by the Army component at their expense and management. Contractor will coordinate placement and provide access and coordination. Replace the existing entry gate at the driveway to the launch pad with a wider gate similar in structure of the existing gate. Trucks have difficulty entering thru the gate and avoiding a light pole across the street. The goal is to improve accessibility for large trucks to enter the launch pad.
