- Description
- This is a synopsis of a requirement for a 743rd ARMAG Fiber Connectivity Contract utilizing a total small-business set-aside, for Buckley Space Force Base (SFB), CO.� Solicitation FA2543-21-R-0015, will be issued on or about 5 Aug 2021. The contractor shall install, terminate and test the fiber from building 1617 to the ARMAG building IAW the Statement of Work (SOW) at Buckley SFB.� The following is a description of the work requirements for this contract: An Outside Plant Cable (OSP) underground rated 12 strand single-mode (SM) fiber optic cable will be installed from building 1617 to the ARMAG building designated on the attached drawing.� The cable will be one continuous length with zero splices unless authorized by a Buckley AT&T NaaS representative. The cable will be installed in existing innerduct as shown on the diagram and where innerduct does not exist, 3-Cell Maxcell will be installed in a duct with existing cabling or two (2) 3-Cell Maxcells will be installed in an empty innerduct. For more detailed information, please see the attached Statement of Work (SOW) dated 16 August 2021. The solicitation information will be posted on SAM.gov at https://sam.gov/ �This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102; therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. �As a result of the posting, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $39.5M.
