- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors for Grease Trap Pumping Services for the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville Florida. The proposed NAICS 562998 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $8 Million. Objective: The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville Florida 32608 Has an in-ground grease trap that serves the main and canteen kitchen, It is approximately 1500 gal and has hinged lids for easy access. See attached Draft statement of work for details. Contractor is required to: Coordinate all work with COR PUMP out grease trap once a month Report service to Gainesville regional Utilities The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). However, if responses from qualified firms prove inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be considered. In order to be considered eligible for an SDVOSB or VOSB Set-aside, all interested SDVOSB/VOSB firms must confirm in their response to this Sources Sought Notice that they will meet all the following criteria: VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7003 - Eligibility VAAR Clause 852.219-10 SDVOSB Set-Aside or 852.219-11 VOSB Set-Aside The Limitations on Subcontracting in 13 CFR ยง 125.6 (applies to all SDVOSB/VOSB set-asides, regardless of dollar value) All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to jvonne.wilson@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Your response is required by 11:00 AM EST on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
