- THIS IS REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ).� The U.S. Government desires to procure the Baby Sleep Sacks on a small business set-aside basis, provided 2 or more qualified small businesses respond to this request for quote.� Be advised that the U.S. Government will not be able to set aside this requirement if 2 or more small businesses do not respond with information to support the set-aside.� We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service.�� The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder.� Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued.�The anticipated NAICS code(s) is/are:� 315240 � Women�s, Girls�, and Infants� Cut and Sew Apparel Manufacturing (Size Standard: 750 employees). A need is anticipated for the Baby Sleep Sacks. The MICC End User requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: Line Item 001:�Customized Sleep Sack. 100% cotton sleeveless newborn sleep sacks with inverted zippers.� Sleep sacks shall be for newborns from 5lbs�10lbs.� Sacks shall have flared, roomy bottoms, allowing ample room for leg movement. Sleep sacks shall have a bottom zipper to make nighttime diaper changes easy. The color of the sacks shall be either white or cream. Optional: the sacks can include an imprint area measuring 3 in�x 3 in�on the left breast.� Quantity Required: 5,000 EA Contractor shall ship newborn sleep sacks to Fort Bragg, NC 28310.� Due to onsite storage issues, products shall not all be shipped at once.� The items shall be delivered in four (4) separate shipments.� One fourth (1/4) of the shipment shall be delivered initially, then another one fourth (1/4) of the shipment every three months thereafter until completion. After contract award, the contractor shall be available via telephone or email during normal working hours, Monday through Friday 0800-1700. A warranty on workmanship for one year must be provided. Shipping is FOB Destination CONUS (Continental U.S.) New Equipment only. No used or remanufactured products will be accepted.
