NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES for QP310/QPatch II This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using�� Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). �The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; �has a requirement to procure the following service: The Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC) Molecular Toxicology requires routine preventive maintenance, unlimited on-site repairs, software upgrades, on-line technical support, and telephone assistance to resolve technical problems. This is a non-personal services contract to provide routine preventive maintenance, unlimited on-site repairs, software upgrades, on-line technical support, and telephone assistance to resolve technical problems. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Sophion Bioscience Inc., 400 Trade Center Drive, Woburn, MA 01801.� Sophion is the previous contract holder and due to the continued need for the maintenance and support services for the mission essential routine preventive maintenance and as-needed repair of an for QP310/QPatch, has been deemed critical. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the Business Size Standard is $22M. All responses received within five businesses (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), 25 August, 2021.� For questions concerning this Notice of Intent, contact Peggy Y.
