Description

The Marine Corps Installations-East Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Fire Training Structures, 1005 North 50th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008, CAGE Code: 5BY40, under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1) Only Soliciting from a single source. The requirment is for one (1) Open-Bay, Pre-Fabricated Fire Training Simulator aboard Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort, SC.� Fire Training Structures (FTS) is the only manufacturer that fabricates the Open Bay System. FTS is the sole authorized source and does not have distributors. The Fire Training Simulator is: NFPA 1402 �Standard on facilities for Fire Training and Associated Props� 2019 Edition compliant. Incorporates Class �A� fueled live-fire training within a purpose-built fully insulated burn room. Temperature Monitoring System Custom fabricated fully insulated doors and ventilation system THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Responses must be submitted on or before the closing date/time of this notice for consideration.� All responses shall be sent via email to lisa.stevens@usmc.mil. �
