Description
Amendment 01 to provide answers to contractor questions and extend the quote due date. Remove and replace HVAC Rooftop Units (RTUs) � (2ea.) 2-ton, (3ea) 4-ton, (2ea) 5-ton, and (1ea) 7.5 package units and adapter curbs. Remove and replace HVAC Wall Mount Units � (4ea.) 3-ton and (1ea) 5-ton high efficiency heat pump units. Remove and replace HVAC Split System Units � (1ea.) 3.5-ton and (1ea) 6.5-ton split system units. Remove any existing hardware, duct transition, refrigerant piping, disconnect unit from gas, electrical power, drain line, control wiring, and duct work. Indoor Air Quality: New Rooftop Units, Wall Mount Units, and Split System Units shall be equipped with anti-microbial UV light option installed as per manufacturer�s recommendations. Electrical: Install new breakers, Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) receptacles, and new disconnects rated for outdoor service. Duct Work: Units shall be installed on the existing footprint of the current unit. RTUs with horizontal connections to duct work shall be connected to duct with new U.L. rated fabric boots to prevent the transmission of vibration through the duct system. New RTUs - New curb adaptors shall be provided and installed as required per manufacturer�s recommendations on existing roof curbs. New Split System Units - New refrigerant lines shall be installed with liquid line and suction line filter driers to include new insulation, brackets, straps, and clamps. New evaporator coils shall be installed with a condensate drain overflow safety switch. All refrigerant lines, electrical conduits, and condensate drains shall be properly fastened and secured to prevent accidental movement and sag. Smoke Detectors and Fire Safety - RTUs with supply airflows greater than 2,000 cfm shall be installed with smoke detectors in the supply duct and connected to the existing fire alarm panel. New Wall Mount Units and New Split System Units must match existing fire alarm connections. �New low voltage thermostats shall have a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), 7-day programmable with auto changeover, separate programming for each day of the week with 4 periods per day, keypad lockout. Include Commissioning Services Cost and Test and Balance (TAB) cost (for balancing airflows and adjusting motor sheaves).
