- The US Army Medical Command, Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, BAMC Health Contracting Cell, Fort Sam Houston, TX is issuing this sources sought synopsis for San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). This sources sought is issued as a means of conducting market research to identify parties that have an interest in the resources to support this requirement to provide the non-personal services of one (1) full-time (1.0) equivalent (FTE) Research Coordinator and (1) full-time (1.0) equivalent (FTE) Research Physical Therapist for the Physical Therapy Clinic at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS. The contract research coordinator and research physical therapist shall have the required experience and documented current competence in the specified clinical setting to perform the tasks and procedures. The research coordinator shall meet the following qualifications: Demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of rehabilitative care in a Physical Therapy Clinic or research. Demonstrate computer literacy sufficient to operate a personal computer utilizing word processing programs and possess basic typing skills sufficient to efficiently produce the research coordinator�s own reports and correspondence. Have and maintain a current certification in basic cardiac file support (BCLS). The Contractor shall ensure that he/she has sufficient training and experience to enroll patients and coordinate services for members and beneficiaries who are enrolled in the research project. The research physical therapist shall meet the following qualifications: �The contract research physical therapist is required to hold a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college and be a Licensed Physical Therapist. �Have and maintain a current license to practice Physical therapy in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. �Demonstrate a working knowledge of professional standards and ethics regarding the delivery of nursing in a Physical Therapy Clinic or research. Demonstrate computer literacy sufficient to operate a personal computer utilizing word processing programs and possess basic typing skills sufficient to efficiently produce the research physical therapist�s own reports and correspondence. Have and maintain a current certification in basic cardiac file support (BCLS). The Contractor shall ensure that he/she has sufficient training and experience to effectively provide outpatient physical therapy care for service members and beneficiaries who are enrolled in the research project. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to provide/perform these contract supplies/services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements shall address the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational capability. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to 1) provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated; and 2) provide services under a performance based services acquisition contract. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES, PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION OR SOLE SOURCE. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed service are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 12:00 pm CT, 24 August, 2021.
