- PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, Hennepin County, Minnesota ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: Potential Offerors are advised that this procurement is a Total Small Business Set-aside without further socio-economic set aside in accordance with FAR 19.203(c). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $39.5 million. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded Solicitation Package before submitting your Proposal. It is the Contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Proposal. PROJECT CONSISTS OF: The work includes, but is not limited to, project mobilization and demobilization, project management and oversight, testing and inspection, construction surveying, demolition, quality control, cleanup, and removal of all debris generated during performance of the work. The work also includes, but is not limited to: constructing an approximately 1,600 square feet, steel framed, one story addition to an existing Wildlife Interpretation and Education Center (building), remodeling approximately 3,200 square feet of the existing first floor adjacent to the addition, remodeling an existing garage into locker and storage space, remodeling an existing coat closet into a single user family restroom, remodeling an existing exhibit area into a conference room, remodeling the second floor administration space, constructing a concrete foundation and slab for a future 576 square feet wood framed garage, site work, landscaping, and reconfiguring and adding to existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, IT, and fire suppression systems. SITE VISIT: Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Site visit details are in Clause 52.236-27.
