NEW Pre sol Notice 36C25621Q1735 Urgent Requirement-Replaces cancelled 36C25621Q1480 THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). A solicitation is forthcoming tomorrow with a short turn-around of 31 August. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care Systems (SLVHCS), in New Orleans, is anticipating setting this requirement aside 100% for SDVOSBs to locum(s) companies for the below positions: 2 Medical Technologists/Clinical Laboratory Scientists for 16 weeks 1 Histotechnologist for 16 weeks Seeking highly qualified staff that will not involve airfare travel to minimize costs. Station is currently attempting to recruit these positions. Services shall be provided at SLVHCS, 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. Period of Performance is four months with anticipation of services of staff to begin in September pending acceptability/credentialing. NOTE: The NAICS code is 561320, Temporary Help Services, applies and the Size Standard is $30.0 million.
