Description
**Update** August 19, 2021 As an update on this acquisition, the program office is still reviewing the responses to the Request for Information. Upon the completion of their review of those responses, the program office will provide another update. Please continue to monitor the HIVE and sam.gov for updates on this acquisition. **Update** July 14, 2021 Good Morning All, The RFI response due date has been moved to July 22, 2021. **Original Message** Good Afternoon All, JOMIS is providing an attached overview of a potential requirement related to the Operational Medicine Data Service. JOMIS is in the research phase of this requirement and is seeking Industry feedback on potential solutions. Interested parties may submit a written response stating how they would fulfill the requirement and include appropriate documentation describing their experience for providing such services no later than July 15th, 2021. Based on responses, the Government may reach out to interested vendors to further explore proposed solutions. Vendors should keep in mind that OMDS will support all five OpMed Heath Care functions. This vast amount of data will require vendors to think outside the box when proposing solutions to accommodate data supporting the longitudinal health record for service members and care provided to non-service members and improvement to the data experience for medical logistics and patient movement. The response may include the following areas but should be no longer than five pages: Ecosystem Integration - Please explain how your proposed solution maximizes the ability to integrate with OpMed Community systems. Focus on your companys ability to manage data interfaces between commercial, military, and government systems and how you would integrate that data into the OpMed ecosystem. OMDS seeks solutions featuring forward-looking flexibility that enables rapid new connections, data sharing, and ease of data consumption. Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Strategy/Approach - Provide a description of your approach to managing the CI/CD process for your proposed solution. Does your company have a DevSecOps platform? If so, does this platform provide a continuous Authority to Operate (cATO)? If so, on what domains and classification levels? Does your company have experience working / integrating with DoD pipelines (e.g., Platform One)? Agile Framework and Methodology - Describe how you would utilize an Agile Development Methodology to quickly and iteratively develop the proposed capability into production. Please show your adaptability in the use of DevSecOps platforms, adoption of solutions that leverage the growing repository of DoD sanctioned repository images, and quickness in responding to new requirements or priorities. Are you prepared to work with an established Value Team (i.e., Matrixed Government support team; product owner, business analysts, dev team)? Distributed Management, Cloud Infrastructure, Edge, DIL and Infrastructure Costs - Describe any capabilities or infrastructure your proposed solution provides (i.e., use of proprietary devices) to support data management in targeted environments; specifically ease of integration with solutions in the field and as such, data movement enabled over edge devices, using unique approaches at endpoints to push and pull data in theater. Address future plans or projections for instantiating emerging technologies such as OCONUS cloud presence, 5G tactical networks, and low earth orbit satellite technology. Are you familiar with the use of edge devices in data management solutions? Does your solution work in the DIL environment? If so, please describe how this operates. Stakeholder / OpMed Environment - Describe your understanding of unique, data-related challenges found in OpMed. Please send your feedback to dha.ncr.co.mbx.jomis-contracting@mail.mil.
