Description
This solicitation is for previously selected MATOC Pool�under W912HN18R3000 GA/SC Unrestricted MATOC ONLY the following contractors will be granted access to the provided files - W912HN20D3000 - Brasfield & Gorrie W912HN20D3001 - Gilbane Federal JV W912HN20D3002 - Hensel Phelps W912HN20D3003 - Caddell Construction W912HN20D3004 - Archer Western W912HN20D3005 - MA Mortenson The work includes renovating a portion of existing building 59, known as 59D Mechanical De-paint on Robins AFB. Existing building 59 has two separate operational areas, one for painting aircraft (59P), and one for mechanical de-painting aircraft (59D) with a central plant area that separates the two main operational areas. The existing 59D dry mechanical de-painting portion will be renovated into a dual/combination wet chemical de-painting and painting facility. The renovation will include updating the current space to accommodate and safely meet all government standards for this new dual purpose. This task order will require design (with analysis & calculations) and construction to renovate and repair this hangar bay as described in the RFP technical section and drawings. �There are sustainability, but no LEED requirements for this project. The renovation involves approximately 112,500 square feet of the existing dry de-paint process (Bay 59D, south hangar bay) for conversion to chemical process in Building 59 with paint process to occur simultaneously in both 59P and 59D. Replace concrete floor to accommodate new sloped floor for drainage to exterior industrial waste collection lift station system. Cleaning of residual paint dusts. Repair dust filtration system, central plant system, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, fans, motors, outside air handling units and associated piping, fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, security lighting, communication support, roofing system, and electrical systems as called for. Included optional items are roof repair, hangar bay lighting replacement, paint mixing system and projection system, wall-mounted HVAC unit replacements, Paint projection system, paint mixing system, and central energy component replacements.�
