- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE � This is a notice of the Government's intent to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Contemporary Product Solutions Inc., [309 A 26th Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23451], under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source. Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate (AD) intends to award a contract purchase for Dental Sensors to support The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA). This will be awarded to Contemporary Product Solutions, Inc., as they are the only authorized reseller under the sole proprietor, Carestream Dental LLC, for the purchase of Carestream Dental Sensors.� The dental sensors are critical for the dental analysis and cannot be performed without them. Carestream Dental Sensors are currently being used at The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA). �Carestream has proprietary rights to the dental sensor�s utilized in making radiographs (x-rays) and provides dental analysis for DPAA. Carestream is the only company with access to proprietary: performance verified component parts, spare parts, technical support, upgrades and engineering resources to maintain the original operating specifications for DPAA�s Carestream Dental Sensors. Below are the specifications the Government will be procuring to support DPAA. WHS shall procure five (5) RVG 6200 Sensors, Size 2 and two (2) RVG 6200 Sensors, Size 1 Quantity: Five (5) RVG 6200 Sensor, Size 2 Sensor Technology: CMOS, Scintillator, Optical fiber* Sensor matrix: Size 2 : 1402 x 1874 pixels Sensor active surface dimensions: Size 2 : 26.6 x 35.5 mm Gray scale: 4096 grey levels (12 bits) Dimension: Size 2 : 32,2 mm(W) x 44,2 mm (H) x 7,3 mm (D) Weight: Size 2 : 75 g Input voltage: 5V DC (USB interface) USB Interface: USB 2.0 high Speed USB Connector: Plug Type A Optical fiber Quantity: Two (2) RVG 6200 Sensor, Size 1 Sensor Technology: CMOS, Scintillator, Optical fiber* Sensor matrix: Size 1 : 1168 x 1562 pixels Sensor active surface dimensions: Size 1 : 22.2 x 29.6 mm Gray scale: 4096 grey levels (12 bits) Dimension: Size 1 : 27,6 mm(W) x 37,7 mm (H) x 7,3 mm (D) Weight: Size 1 : 65 g Input voltage: 5V DC (USB interface) USB Interface: USB 2.0 high Speed USB Connector: Plug Type A Optical fiber The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339114 � Dental Equipment and Supplies Manufacturing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations, however interested parties may identify their interest and submit a capability statement indicating they meet the same/similar specifications identified above by 12:00 PM, EST on August 27, 2021 to whs.ncr.ad.mbx.eosd-tab-branch@mail.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
