Description

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis for name-brand �Starline� Busway System. The FAA intends to compete the requirement among the following companies: DVL, Inc. Starline Holdings LLC The aforementioned companies were provided by Starline as the only approved resellers for Atlantic City, NJ. The FAA has a requirement to procure a new Starline overhead busway distribution system and associated overhead busway modules for the Enterprise Information Display System (EIDS) Lab located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City, NJ. The FAA has identified only the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and one (1) authorized reseller/distributor, DVL Inc. As such, the FAA will conduct a limited competition only amongst the OEM, Starline Holdings LLC and their authorized reseller/distributor, DVL Inc. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
