- This is a notice of intent to sole source a contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), only one source being available to meet the Government s need. The contract will be for a one (1) year base period. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334118 Computer terminal and other computer peripheral equipment manufacturing, with a busines size standard of 1000 employees. The FSC/PSC is N012 INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT. FIRE CONTROL EQUIPMENT Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 21, NCO21 Honolulu, Hi on behalf of VA Central California Health Care System, (VACCHCS). PR-IFCAP: 570-21-3-703-0236, request to purchase FIRE LIFE SAFETY UPGRADE. VA Central California Nevada Health Care System 2615 E Clinton Ave Fresno, CA 9370. The VA Central California Health Care System is seeking to purchase a new CPU board controls all other circuit boards within each panel and interfaces with the rest of the Fire System throughout the campus. Upgrading the 4100U Master Controller CPU circuit board to a to a 4100ES Master Controller for the FIRE LIFE SAFETY. The boards would be replaced by a authorized vendor who in turn will go to Simplex to do a network upgrade, so it interfaces with the rest of the Fire System. The upgrade of the 4100EU Master Controller Central Processing Unit (CPU) circuit board to a 4100ES Master Controller as the CPU is the heart of the system. 4100ES MSTR CTLR UPGD NO DSPLY 4100-7158 4100U TSD UPGRD W/ES MCNTRLR 4100-7164 TESTING LABOR TECHNICAL LABOR for the above listed items, describe and/or submit documentation to support your capabilities. The response will be considered by the agency. If you are not the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), you must submit an authorized distributor letter signed by the OEM. If you are not the OEM and a small business, you must indicate in your response how you will comply with limitations on subcontracting and/or the non-manufacturer rule. Responses should be submitted to Haunani Freeman(AKA) at darralynn.freeman@va.gov no later than August 30, 2021 at 12:00 PM HST to be considered. If no responses are received, the Government will continue with its sole source procurement, and a sole source Request for Quote will be published to contract opportunities in accordance with FAR 5.102.
