Description
*Update (8/24/2021): A Questions and Answers document is now posted to this solicitation. The agency requires five (5) server rack cabinets protected with EMP / HEMP protection in the operation mode. One set per site should consist�of (1) 20U Rack and (1) 10U Rack, cabinets should be lockable with internal airflow to keep equipment at operating temperatures.�The power supply and cord will be determined after the equipment requirements and specs have been received by the vendor. Please provide a recommended period of performance for this effort and let the POC know�if you have any questions. Deliverables: 1) Five (5) ea Server Rack Cabinet 2) Cabinet per set includes: 20U Rack and 10U Rack 3) Cabinets should be lockable with internal airflow to keep equipment at operating temperatures 4) Any applicable warranties for any part that is repaired and/or replaced Items to note: 1) The location for the placement of the racks is unknown and depends if there�s a facility/office available. The worst case is remote/outside or even a facility with no air conditioning. 2) The equipment being used in the racks is typical network equipment, i.e. Cisco router, Cisco switch, UPS, Laptop and IDS. 3) Leave room for optional equipment. 4) Cable management is critical.� 5)� Standard entry/exit interfaces, i.e. Cisco router, Switch UPS, Laptop, IDS�� 6) Shielding levels, cutouts, connectors, seismic are Federal/DOD EMP/HEMP standards 7) Mounting rails to be tapped 8) Doors hinged right hand 9) MIL SPEC standards required 10) No casters however transportable wheels and handle 11) Line Filter, grounding bar, outlet strip, and chassis guides/supports required 12) The racks will be installed in open air office space without any constraints to airflow both incoming and exhaust. 13)�The equipment being used in the racks and the amount of space needed for the equipment will determine the type of cooling needed for the rack. Customization may have to happen after award once�the equipment to be used has been verified.� 14)�The equipment will also determine the size�if the power filter needed for the rack, the filter needs to be mounted inside the protected space and the size of it along with the rack mounted equipment determine the depth of the rack. 15)�Both power distribution and cable management system is required. 16) Power supply and cord will be determined after the equipment requirements and specs have been received by vendor. The power supply, airflow equipment, cable management etc. will be quoted separately after server equipment information is received by vendor.
