- N0016417DJR57 P00007 � SOLE SOURCE � MK 179 MOD 0 AND MK 180 MOD 0 DEMOLITION CHARGES � FSC 1375 � NAICS 325920 Issue Date: 25 AUG 2021 � Closing Date: 09 SEP 2021 � Time 2:00 PMEastern The Government intends to increase the contract ceiling of N0016417DJR57, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense, 640 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, Connecticut, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This proposed requirement is for the MK 179 MOD 0 and MK 180 MOD 0 Demolition Charges.� The Government intends to award a modification to increase the contract ceiling on N0016417DJR57 by $1,967,378.00 to meet requirements until the follow-on, competitive contract is awarded.� The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.� The basis for restricting competition is unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through another source.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
