- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price delivery order to US Instruments, Inc. for the purpose of acquiring two(2) Parks Flo Lab 2100-SX2FFI systems for the Buffalo VA Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. Market research was conducted and determined that US Instruments Inc. is the only vendor capable of providing the supplies & service necessary to meet the requirements. The US Government intends to solicit from only one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B) Soliciting from a Single Source. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339112 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to Matthew.McDonell@va.gov and will consider responses received by 12:30 pm Eastern Standard Time on September 1, 2021. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
