Description: PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-21-Q-0600. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) of Arlington, VA in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). The government�s minimum requirement is to procure registration for 160 Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) personnel to attend the NDIA Joint Undersea Warfare Technology Conference. The event will take place at Naval Station New London or within fifty (50) miles or be held virtually if COVID-19 limitations and restrictions require. �The period of performance is 27 September 2021 through 29 September 2021. The NDIA is the only vendor that provides USW specific technical sessions that focus on the Navy�s mission areas in Aviation USW, C4I, Combat Systems, Mine Warfare, Undersea Sensors, Undersea Vehicles, and Warfighter Performance.� NDIA�s Joint Undersea Warfare Technology Conference provides a forum for discussing methods to maintain undersea superiority to secure access and maneuver in the Global Commons. This is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, complete product information, and pricing will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This sole source requirement was reviewed by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 813920.
