Notice Number:� Pre-solicitation Solicitation Number: �FA2521-21-B-0017 Project Title: KSCC 18_1543 Repair Weather Towers, Various, Kennedy Space Center Complex (KSCC) PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or Invitation for Bid.�� The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick Space Force Base, FL announces the anticipated release of an Invitation for Bid for Project No. KSCC 18-1543 for a single-award contract to be performed at Kennedy Space Center Complex (KSCC), FL. ��All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual IFB document. This electronic announcement constitutes the pre-solicitation notice. This IFB is being issued as a Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside; all other bids will be deemed non-responsive.� Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14-Sealed Bidding.� An award will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.104-1) whose bid is responsive to the terms and conditions of the IFB and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the solicitation. Interested parties should register on-line and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation via the Sam.Gov, website (www.sam.gov). There will be no paper copies of this IFB. DBEH 18-1543, Repair Weather Towers, Various, Kennedy Space Center, FL. Project Title: �KSCC 18-1543, Repair Weather Towers, Various. Place of Performance: Kennedy Space Center Complex (KSCC), FL Period of Performance:� 150 Days from Notice to Proceed. Brief Description of Acquisition:� This will be a Single-award Firm Fixed Price Contract to provide the labor, equipment and materials to repair three weather stations located on National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Kennedy Space Center Complex (KSCC) property. Towers 506 and 415 are both 54'-0"" tall aluminum scaffold towers with guy cables and are both in need of structural repairs. Tower 415 will require electrical replacement of lightning protection conduit and connectors. Tower 0015 is a wooden pole that is to be replaced with a new concrete pole. All associated equipment and hardware are to be reused and reinstalled onto the new concrete pole. Tower 0015 will require electrical replacement of lightning protection conduit and connectors.� NAICS CODE: 237130 � Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction Size Standard: 39.5M Magnitude:� $500,000 and $1M IFB will be available on or about 13 July 2021 with a bid closing date on or about 12 August 2021. The performance period for this project will be 150 calendar days, including 25 non-access days, to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).� NTP to be issued within 30 days after award. This acquisition is being issued under FAR 19.1505(c) a Competitive Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid. The Invitation for Bid will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.sam.gov. Potential offerors must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award.� (See internet site: http://www.sam.gov).� Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System.� Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration.� All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Space Launch Delta 45.
