Description

The 147th Attack Wing intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a one time, sole source basis to: Altec, 6902 East Orem Drive, Houston, Texas, 77075 for the purpose of repairing one Altec Bucket Truck. Required repairs include: trouble shoot non-extending boom, replace intermediate boom extension cylinder, repair issue with pole guides, replace digger motor hoses, replace pole guide tilt cylinder, repair issue of outrigger tools and derrick switch operating backwards, remove rusted pins, replace 10-20 placards, set pressure and adjust flow, top off hydraulic reservoir, complete a structural load test, operational test unit function after repair or replaced component, supplies and environmental disposal. The resultant contract will fulfill the 272nd EIS requirement to have operational bucket trucks in support of the training programs and contingency operations. The 147th intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities by responding to this requirement; emailed responses will only be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
