Gregory Stevens Contracting Officer CONTINUATION PAGE Q1. The original solicitation states: The contractor will provide all new card readers, door devices, cameras servers and software. And the contractor will be required to run all new cabling and demo the existing cabling. We would like to ensure that the intent of the solicitation is that the existing cameras are to remain, with new cameras being installed at the following locations: Cameras: o 3rd floor front stairwell o 2nd floor front stairwell o 1st floor front stairwell o VRE hallway o IDF room 125 A1. Existing cameras will be replaced with new cameras in all locations. A new camera and conduit will be installed at the locations listed above. Q2. Amendment 05, Q1 and A1 states that no new doors are being added. However, page 12 of the original solicitation states that Door readers will be added at Exterior patio door, Exterior west double door, Interior new VRE door and Interior door room 147. If there is not any door hardware being added at these doors, will the contractor just be required to install door readers? Please confirm. A2. There are four existing doors that need to be added to the PACS that currently do not have a door reader. See existing equipment: 1. Exterior patio door hardware exists door reader needed conduit unknown 2. Exterior west double door hardware exists door reader needed conduit unknown 3. Interior new VRE door hardware and conduit exists door reader needed 4. Interior door room 147 hardware, conduit and door reader needed.
