- The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, intends to acquire Part Numbers: 726317-2, 727607-801, 622474-1 and 7276608-801 to support the weapon systems. This is a Sources Sought/Request for Information for the potential requirement described below. ���������� Requirements Description: The AN/ARC-231 is a multi-mode radio which provides Line of Sight and Beyond Line of Sight communications on Army Aviation platforms.� This capability includes secure/non-secure���� two-way voice and data communications over the 30-512 megahertz (MHz) frequency range. This Sources Sought Announcement purpose is to conduct market research to identify potential sources to manufacture or supply new Circuit Card Assemblies used in items for the���� AN/ARC-231 Multi-Mode Aviation Radio System (MARS). The Circuit Card Assemblies are listed below: Nomenclature������������������������� National Stock Number (NSN)��������������������� Part Number CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY ����������������� 5998-01-567-8174����������������������������� 726317-2 CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY������������������ 5998-01-588-8114����������������������������� 727607-801���� CARTRIDGE, PROGRAMMABLE��������� 7045-01-569-0333����������������������������� 622474-1 CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY������������������ 5998-01-589-7524����������������������������� 7276608-801 All FOUR Circuit Card Assemblies, listed above, shall meet the Form, Fit, Function and Interface Requirements of present identical items use in AN/ARC-231 Multi-Mode Aviation Radio System. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the FOUR Circuit Card Assemblies. Requested Response Information: We request sources that can manufacture or supply new Circuit Card Assemblies listed above, to submit their information to show their capability to manufacture or supply new identical or similar parts. At a minimum the support information you submit should include, but is not limited to, the following types of documentation: Questionnaire, drawings, test results, information on previous Government and commercial contracts, data rights, and other technical information to demonstrate that the supplier can provide equivalent hardware, that has the same Form, Fit, Function and Interface Requirements of the Circuit Card Assemblies currently used with the AN/ARC-231 Multi-Mode Aviation Radio System. In your response, please include your company name, CAGE code, and a technical point of contract with email address and telephone number. Notice, Response due Date, and Points of Contact: This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this SSA or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this SSA. This Sources sought announcement (SSA) is for planning and market research purposes only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business.� Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future.
