- This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by the Network Contracting Office 16 at 2002 Holcombe Blvd. Bldg. 100, Houston, Texas 77030 to identify sources that are capable of providing a Brand Name Only Orthodontics Clinical Diagnostics Reagents compatible with the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS) Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service Manual GEL System. Description of the requirement is below. These reagents are required for performing ABO/RH typing, antibody screening, Antigen screening, and antibody Identification of patient samples. These tests are used in the determination of a patient blood type and antibody status prior to transfusing blood or blood products. If this is a supply your business can provide, please respond to this Sources Sought Notice by 3:00 PM Central Time on Monday, 30 August 2021. The intent of this notice is to establish sources to define the procurement strategy (e.g set-aside, sole source, unrestricted) for a solicitation that VA intends to post soon. Interested contractors are requested to respond in accordance with the following: 3.1 Please respond to this notice if you can provide the exact brand name products listed in the table in the background section above. In the response please cite your business size status. a. If you have an existing GSA or VA, Federal Supply Schedule contract, please include the contract details in your response. b. DISTRIBUTORS: You must provide proof that you are an authorized distributor. VA does not accept gray market items. Equivalent products may not be accepted. Offerors that propose Equivalent products may not be considered during the acquisition process. Please note that VA is particularly interested in determining the availability of Small Business Manufacturers. If your company is a small business manufacturer or distributor, please respond to this notice. Vendors are requested to submit estimated market research pricing with their responses. The estimated pricing will be considered when determining the procurement strategy for the future solicitation. (e.g. if CO determines that capable small businesses cannot provide fair and reasonable pricing, then the solicitation will not be set-aside). 6.
