- Description
- The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), soliciting from a single source.� The proposed source is Henry Schein, Inc. of 135 Duryea Rd, Melville, New York, NY, 11747-3824. United States Naval Hospital (USNH) Okinawa and Yokosuka, Japan; Branch Medical Clinics located in Atsugi, Iwakuni, and Sasebo, Japan; and the Health Service Department in Diego Garcia has a supply requirement for various types of test reagents and laboratory supplies. The brand name reagents are required (manufacturers include the following: Alere, Bayer Diagnostics, Bio laboratories, American Master Tech Scientific, Beckman Coulter, Bio Test Medical, Azer Scientific, Becton Dickinson, BioMerieux Vitek, Cancer Diagnostics, Fisher Scientific, Immucor Gamma, Lav Pulse Med/Energy Beam Sci 2, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Polymed Co, Remel, Simmler, Terumo, Trinity Biotech, Whatman, Dynarex, Globe Scientific, Kimberly Clark, LifeSign, Pacific Hemostasis, Quantimetrix, Sakura Finetek, Smiths Medical, Thermo Scientific, Wampole Lab/Inverness, Wilkens Anderson Co, EN Sciences, HemoCue, Kimble Chase, Orasure Tech, Phlebotic, Quidel, Siemens Medical, Streck Laboratories, Triangle Biomedical, and Wescor) to be consolidated as required and be drop shipped directly by the contractor to the medical facilities in Japan and Diego Garcia.� Delivery will be required starting 01 October 2021 and continue until 30 September 2022. Contractor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the required supplies, such that OEM requires and warranties and FDA compliances are provided and maintained by the OEMs. There are not set-aside restrictions for this requirement.� The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 325413.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product.� All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
