Description

Notice of Intent for Furniture for the Office of Strategic Planning (OSP) The Government is specifically intending to procure furniture for the United States Secret Service Administrative Operations Division in support of the renovation of the OSP 7th Floor office suite and conference room. The USSS is maintaining the consistency of the approved product line, standardization of office furniture, and quality and finish selection to integrate with existing furniture. The identified contractor, MOI, is an authorized vendor who is licensed to supply and install furniture from the Kimball product line. Utilizing, MOI, ensures cost savings for the government, using a different vendor for the requirement would incur additional cost to change out furniture to keep the standards of existing furniture.� Changing the product type would extend the performance period and impede mission requirements. Presently, only Kimball is the authorized dealer who provides the approved product line of furniture that meets the agency's needs.� If other firms develop the capability to provide the USSS the approved product line, those firms will be considered in future procurements. �The contractor shall deliver all furniture within 365 days after receipt of award. Requested Information: Company/Contract Overview: A brief description of your company. Business size/Socio-economic status. Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) number. Briefly describe your company�s ability and experience in providing the requirements as described in the attached draft PWS. Any questions/suggestions related to the draft PWS to assist in clarifying this requirement.
