Description

The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to the Ovid Technologies, provide CardioSource Plus subscriptions for annual accreditation and practice tests to be able to pass the National Cardiology Board certification exam upon physician�s graduation in training programs in the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA- Fort Sam Houston, Texas. A base period plus 3 Option Years is contemplated The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items. Award will be made on or about 28 September 2021.� The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 519130 (Internet Publishing and Broadcasting and Web Search Portals). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A formal solicitation will not be published unless it is determined in the best interest of the Government to do so. However, all responses received, to include capability statements received before close of business 31 August 2021 will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
