Description
FY21 NATR MT. LOCUST CONDITION ASSESSMENT The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for The Natchez Trace Parkway. The project is to conduct a condition assessment, provide treatment and work recommendations, and cost estimating for historic preservation and structural stabilization at the Mt. Locust historic house. The report should build upon the existing 1998 Historic Structure Report (HSR) and utilize existing Historic American Building Survey (HABS) documentation, and NPS records. The site is located on the southernmost part of the Natchez Trace Parkway (Parkway) at milepost 15.5 in Jefferson County, Mississippi. Latitude and Longitude coordinates are 31�41'11.07""N and 91�11'25.71""W. Objective is to have a report with an updated condition assessment, treatment and work recommendations, and cost estimates to guide upcoming projects. The report will be used to develop future Statement of Works. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $30,000 - $45,000. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541720. It is the contractor�s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This Acquisition shall result in award of a firm fixed price contract expected to be awarded by mid-September2021. Evaluation factors: The selection will be made by evaluating proposals based on cost, technical approach and relevant experience. See clause section for weighting of these three evaluation factors. Bidders must be able to provide references of applicable experience in order to receive the award.
