Answer: Yes, a site visit is possible. See site visit information on page 3. Is it possible to get a Bill of Materials or a legend that corresponds with the cameras identified on the drawing set? There are 18 different camera types identified on the attachment ""IP Camera Requirements"" but no corresponding legend for the images/placement on the drawings. If there is an associated BOM or take-off document or detail so that we can perform a take-off that would be essential. Answer: See attached CCTV Equipment Takeoff . Can we get quantity of each camera or a legend that identifies the cameras that are shown in drawings so we can get the correct camera count? Really need a legend because there on cameras (on page 1) that are not attached to building and just on the left side of drawing. Can you also provide a legend for cameras, workstations, servers, switches and network closets on drawings or breakdown with quantities needed of each camera or other device for that location? Where do they go or they just on there for reference? Answer: See attached CCTV Equipment Takeoff . What is the scale of the drawing? Answer: There is no specified scale for the drawings. What is the exact quantity of cameras that need to be installed? And how many of each type? Answer: See attached CCTV Equipment Takeoff . Is this project a standalone project or part of a larger construction/remodel project? Answer: This is a standalone project. If part of a larger remodel, is there a schedule available showing the various phases of construction and when areas of the hospital will be able to be worked in? Answer: N/A. If this is a standalone project, is this camera project replacing and existing camera system or completely new install? Answer: There is an existing CCTV system. This project will replace the existing system. Is there a mechanism or window of time when we are able to review and make some adjustments to the specific design? Answer: Specific revisions may be necessary depending on site conditions. These can be reviewed during shop drawing process. Site Visit (APR 1984) An organized site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. EDT. The site visit will be conducted at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center (WB VAMC) Building 1, 1111 East End Blvd. Contractors shall report to the WB VAMC at the Main entrance. Bob Calarco will meet you at the Main entrance. Point of contact for this site visit will be Bob Calarco at 570-854-0196. No questions will be asked and answered during the site visit; all questions must be sent via e-mail to the Contracting Officer, Bruce Jackson II, at Bruce.Jackson5@va.gov no later than September 2 2021 at 9:00 A.M. EDT. An amendment to the RFP will be posted on Contract Opportunities on or about September 3, 2021 with all questions received, including all answers.
