Jarrett Contracting Officer Grease Trap Maintenance Services & Repair RFQ# 36C24821Q1463 Amendment #1 Page 3 of 3 Questions and Answers 1. In regard to the 1K gallon grease interceptor at Bldg. 38: Does this quote include deterioration? Question #1 Answer: Within the performance of the contract, the government will anticipate the contractor to evaluate/specify any repairs needed for deteriorated items or equipment when providing Preventative Maintenance (PM) Services. If repairs are needed, the contractor will submit a bid/quote on repairs needed to bring the grease interceptor system to industry/OEM standards. 2. In regard to the three-line jetting s of Bldg. 1,38,100: Can you identify the source? What is the length from grease interceptor to the source inside the building for the jetter line and cameraing purposes? Question #2 Answer: From the Grease Traps to the back of the facility is 500 feet; if additional length/distance is required it will be considered upon evaluation when providing PM. 3. In regard to the 1000 Linear Storm Water Drainage System: What size lines are the 1000 linear feet? Can you provide a photo for location? Question #3 Answer: The storm drains are to be viewed/camera annually; if they need to be jetted, there is the initial 1000 linear feet. 4. In regard to the 1000 Linear Storm Water Drainage System: If a line is broken, will that be covered in this quote or a bid item? Question #4 Answer: If a line is broken, the contractor will submit a bid/quote on repairs needed to bring the storm water drainage system to industry/OEM standards. 5. In regard to the 1000 Linear Storm Water Drainage System: What happens if a line is broken and a jet line or camera get stuck in a broken line? Will the repair and removal be covered if both a jet line and/or camera get stuck in a broken line on this quote or a bid item? Question #5 Answer: In the event if a line is broken and a jet line or camera get stuck in a broken line, the contractor will submit a bid/quote on repairs needed to bring the storm water drainage system to industry/OEM standards. 6. In regard to the 3000 Linear Sanitary Septic System: What size lines are the 3000 of sewer lines? Can you provide a photo for location? Question #6 Answer: Camera/jetting will start at campus discharge and head back toward the facilities. 7. In regard to the (8) Lift Stations: What is on the inspections and written report needed to for the facility? Do you have a template inspection, or do we need to create one? Question #7 Answer: The Contractor will provide a checklist, inspections, and written reports based on industry/equipment OEM standards (sanitary/storm water). 8. In regard to the (8) Lift Stations: Do you want pricing for preventative maintenance pump outs? Question #8 Answer: No; the contractor shall ensure of equipment is operating per industry standard and OEM specifications while providing preventative maintenance services. 9. In regard to the (8) Lift Stations: How do you handle fixed pricing during emergency situations such as defective pumps & electronic parts that include price cost, plus labor, and parts for a bypass? Question #9 Answer: All lift stations will serviced by preventative maintenance only; if in the event an emergent repair arises (i.e. pump), the contractor is to evaluate/specify any repairs needed for any emergency situation or equipment when providing Preventative Maintenance Services and provide a quote upon discovery. 10. If the line systems aren t known by JAHVH, can the bid include pricing for camera tracing and drawing of a blueprint in order to provide needed detail for the line system? Question #10 Answer: No, as JAHVH has the drawings of a blueprint. 11. Due to the vast amount of services being requested in the Performance Work Statement, can we send an amount to cover all of these scenarios in the event of an emergency? Question #11 Answer: No, as all emergency repairs/services will be submitted via a quote upon discovery when providing preventative maintenance services.
