- AMENDMENT 001 HAS BEEN POSTED AND IS INCLUDED AS AN ATTACHEMENT. ********************************************************************************************************************* SOLICITAION - INVITATION TO BID PACKAGE IS ATTACHED. ********************************************************************************************************************** PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS PROJECT IS BEING SET ASIDE FOR TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. THE SOURCES SOUGHT THAT WAS POSTED FOR THIS PROJECT IS AS FOLLOWS: ****************************************************************************************** The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, and tools for removing the existing asbestos-containing flooring and replacing it with new flooring, renovating the existing bathrooms, removing the existing deteriorated roofing system and replacing it with new, repair select damaged sections of paving, roadway and miscellaneous paved areas, construct new covered boat storage building underground electrical utilities, remove contaminated soil as part of the roadway repair, replace select underground electrical utilities, replace existing damaged fire hydrant, remove and replace the existing damaged morale locker, and replace select damaged electrical shore tie support utilities with new shore ties serving the floating pier.� In addition, remove existing covered UTB boat storage and replace with new, repair existing covered boat storage structure, remove/repair existing ANT boat storage structure, and replace damaged posts and repair deteriorated sections of security decorative fence. � The performance period will be one hundred fifty (150) calendar days. The estimated value of this procurement is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) 2017 code is 237990. The small business size standard has an annual gross receipt of $30 million. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds are REQUIRED. The following are tentative dates for this project: Solicitation Issued: August 2021 Bid Opening: September 2021 Contract Performance Completion: March 2022 The solicitation and plans in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at https://beta.sam.gov under the above solicitation number. The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for Women-Owned (WOSB), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Small Business concerns. At present, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside.
