- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION �COMBO�: Cryotech E36 Potassium Acetate Purchase Order Description: This requirement is solicited as brand name only The United States Air Force, Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER), requires Cryotech E36 Potassium Acetate for airfield deicing operations.� This requirement is for 20,000 gallons to be delivered no later than 1 December 2021 to JBER (Anchorage), Alaska. Deicing/Anti-icing Fluid for Runways and Taxiways, 50% aqueous potassium acetate solution, by weight, plus corrosion inhibitors. Must be certified to meet the requirements set by SAE AMS 1435D, �Liquid Runway Deicing/Anit-Icing Product.� Clear, mobile liquid, free from matter in suspension. Density at 68 �F = 11 lbs/gallon maximum. Viscosity at 68�F = 10 cp maximum. Flash Point at 32�F = 20 cp maximum. Freezing Point = -76�F or colder. Approved for use by the F-22 Primary Aircraft Authorization (PAA) Any questions to should be directed to the POCs listed above IN WRITING to the email address Christopher.Nelson.70@us.af.mil and Joshua.Jordan.1@us.af.mil �no later than 12pm on August 31, 2021. All questions will be posted and answered by amendment following this date. For a quote to be considered it must be emailed to the Contracting Specialists, Christopher.Nelson.70@us.af.mil and Joshua.Jordan.1@us.af.mil, by the response time and date. Response time, regardless of time listed in beta.sam.gov is 2 September, 2021 at 11AM Alaska Daylight Time. Occasionally the system lists a different time or no time at all. Any quote received after 2 September, 2021 at 11AM will be late and could be considered nonresponsive.
