- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Acquisition Management Division intends to negotiate with Toptica Photonics located in Farmington, New York on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source, for upgrade licenses for wavemeter to measure and control three (3) laser systems.� These systems cover the range of 600 to 2250 nm, wavemeter must be able to measure this full range.� � Specific Requirements for the wavemeter are as follows: Wavelength Meter, Solid State -- Capable of measuring lasers over the full range of 500 � 2250nm.� Absolute accuracies of +/- 200 MHz in the 500 � 1100 nm range, and +/- 150 MHz in the 1100 � 2250nm range.� Built-in calibration.� No moving parts.� High-speed USB2.0 connections. Photonic Crystal Switch -- Four fiber input channels.� Single output channel.� Endlessly Single mode.� Four 5m Single mode fibers covering the at least 636nm, 896nm, and 2220 nm.� Four collimators.� Control and power cables. �Digital Laser Control PID -- PID feedback circuits to control up to four lasers.� Output for each laser feedback to operate simultaneously.� Able to integrate with Toptica Photonics laser systems. This shall be provided and accomplished in accordance with the statement of work attached herein. NAICS Code is 334516 � Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a Size Standard of 1,000 employees. NIST anticipates negotiating and awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order to Toptica Photonics for this requirement.�� Interested parties that can demonstrate they could satisfy the requirement listed above for NIST must clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. If competitive procedures are not used it is estimated that an award will be issued by 09/02/2021. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to lia.arthofer@nist.gov . All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted to lia.arthofer@nist.gov no later than 09/01/2021 at 10:00 a.m. MST.�
