- The USDA seeks to address issues with catch-weight materials, materials our SAP systems defines as variable weight, to make the invoicing process more efficient for vendors and to ensure our customers are receiving consistent supply quantities to serve customers participating in USDA programs. USDA-AMS-CP plans to achieve this goal by meeting three main standards: Ensure customers are getting correct and consistent case counts USDA is obligating enough money to each contract to meet the maximum amount that can be shipped Purchase materials that are broadly defined enough to ensure there is enough vendor competition AMS/CPP hopes to arrive at WBSCM materials that are ordered in cases and receipted in our system in cases.� Please ensure to open and read each related pdf carefully.� Industry specific meetings are being held with details included in each pdf.
