- Description
- USAID/Central Asia intends to modify the Contract No. 7200AA18C00079 with DAI to extend the period of performance by six months and increase the total estimated cost (TEC) by $1 million.� With the existing structure of USAID contract with DAI, CASSS provides a unique platform for a greater understanding of the region, examines different interventions in the area of violent extremism, assesses risks and level of resilience, and tracks the implications of the current crisis in Afghanistan. The extended period of performance will allow additional time for research and analysis of the current security situation in Afghanistan and possible implications on the Central Asian countries. This will help to inform the future program design and possible interventions in these areas. The additional funding will include the increased CVE programming in all four countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, which will allow conducting the supplemental research and analysis.
