Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for�the construction project entitled, ""City of Portage Sewer Interceptor Rehabiliation�- Section 219, Portage, Porter�County, Indiana (USACE�Acquisition)."" PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will�provide service to inceptor rehabilitation�extending from Stone Avenue in the south up to Central Avenue in the north.�This section of interceptor is approximately 4,600 feet in length. It includes 30-inch and 36-inch diameter RCP pipe along with two (2) 20-inch diameter�siphon pipes (between MH74-38 and 74-36). The siphon is restricting flow in�the interceptor, so a third pipe will be added. The manholes within this�stretch of interceptor will also be rehabilitated. Some manhole rim�elevations are below the 100-year floodplain elevation and will be raised as�part of this project as well. CONTRACTING OFFICE: USACE Chicago District, 231 SOUTH LaSALLE�STREET, SUITE 1500, Chicago, IL 60604 ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is FULL AND OPEN, UNRESTRICTED TO BUSINESS SIZE. The North American Industry�System Classification Code is 237110, with a small business size standard in�dollars of $39.5 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated�between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids ��IFB�) will be downloadable from the�INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document�Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe�Acrobat Reader.�Responses to this Solicitation (Invitation for Bids) are due by 2:00 p.m.�(Central Time) on September 14, 2021.
