- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires two (2) jellyfish kreisel aquarium display tanks with stands.� Delivery date preferred on or about December 1, 2021. Basis of Award: Lowest price technically acceptable. Technical Capability shall be based on meeting the essential salient features as identified within the statement of needs.� The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 712130. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06, effective July 12, 2021. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the lowest price technically acceptable. Solicitation is posted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fbo.gov. The solicitation number is 1333F21QNFFM0078? Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on September 10, 2021. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 (Commercial Acquisition) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition)). All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Paper copies of the solicitation WILL NOT be furnished. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement. Inquiries will only be addressed by email. Submit all questions to. Firms offering a response to this notice shall ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, prior to submission of proposals.
