Description

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm- Fixed-Price sole source contract to Medtronic Inc., FDA Approved spinal cord stimulation generator and Spinal Implants with Advanced technology allowing physicians to customize treatment based on patient positional changes. Scheduled programming � Physicians can safely program multiple therapeutic steps during one office visit; the generator will then customize therapy delivery based on patient comfort and automatically increase therapy without the need for the patient to return to the physician under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source, for the Department of Neurology at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Joint Base �Fort Sam Houston, Texas.at San Antonio The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing. The Small Business Size Standard is 750 employees. Award will be made on or after 3 September 2021. The solicitation number is W81K0021Q0243, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, by 3 September 2021-11:00AM CST of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
