- Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Fort Belvoir Division, in conjunction with Product Manager Mobile Electric Power Systems (PM MEPS), is hosting a Virtual Industry Day on Wednesday 18 August 2021 from 1300 - 1500 EST �This�Industry Day is�in association with Request for Information (RFI) W909MY-21-R-0008, �Small Tactical Electric Power (STEP) 3kW EMD�,�for the purposes of engaging industry and providing an opportunity for companies to learn details on the requirement and ask questions in a virtual open forum. Transparency and communication is critical. The Industry Day presentation will include technical, logistics and contracting strategy. The Industry Day briefing is unclassified. **This Virtual Industry Day will be held via Army 365/Microsoft Teams (MS Teams). Directions and additional information will be provided in response to all registrants. �There is no registration fee** Questions and answers presented will be recorded and posted publically. Accordingly, information will NOT be treated as proprietary unless specifically identified as such. Please be aware that identifying information as �proprietary� may preclude them from being incorporated into the final solicitation. Registration Instructions: Interested participants must pre-register for the Industry Day via email to tifphany.n.cantey.civ@mail.mil. Please submit the following information for each individual attending no later than (NLT)�1700 on 17 August 2021 to pre-register for Industry Day. A maximum of three (3) individuals per company will be permitted to register/attend. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Use the following format for your Question Submittal: Email subject line should read �STEP 3kW Industry Day Question� Submit questions in an organized manner using the provided Industry Day Question Submission template. Keep questions brief and concise Do not send marketing information pertaining to your company�s capabilities. � An opportunity to submit questions will be provided during the virtual Industry Day (via chat). This announcement should not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day.
