- Posting August 31, 2021: The purpose of this posting is to revise the requirement, change the set aside to unrestricted, updated provision and clauses and extend the date for receipt of quotes.� Should there be a conflict between information provided prior to August 31, 2021 and the information provided in this posting, the information posted August 31, 2021�supercedes previous documents, including questions and answers.� A conformed copy of the solicitation is attached to this notice, W912LQ21Q00250001. ------End of Posting dated August 31, 2021------ Posting August 6, 2021: The purpose of this posting is to answer questions submitted. Q1. In order to provide enough sleeping rooms for the peak of 1350 we would need to�use 7-10 hotels and provide shuttle transportation. Would this work for this group? A1. The Virginia Army National Guard recognizes it may be necessary to lodge attendees at mulitple facilities.� The number of lodging facilities should be minimized to the maximum extent possible.� In addition, the contractor is required to provide shuttle transportation service to and from lodging facilities and the event venue�if not within safe walking proximity (safe = less than1/2 mile, does not require�crossing of major highways or intersections).� Costs of transportation service shall be provided in the quote. Total transportation time between lodging facility and event venue shall not exceed 20 minutes.� The number of lodging facilities, proximity to the event venue, transportation services and transportation time will be considered in the award decision. Q2. Can the lodging and Event space be at separate venues? A2. Yes but please refer back to Q1 and A1. Q3. If this requirement is being performed by a contractor currently or have been�performed in the past, could you please provide the associated incumbent contract or task order numbers? If not, could you please tell me whether these are new requirements? A3. There is no incumbent contract or task orders. This is a new requirement. -------End of Aug 6, 2021 Posting------- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Virginia Army National Guard will conduct a pre-deployment Yellow Ribbon Event for the 1-116th Infantry within a 30 mile radius of Richmond, VA on October 16th, 2021. An estimated 2000 Attendees and staff will require lodging, conference space, child care and catering services. This requirement is being solicited as a Small Business Set-A-Side. The acquisition is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) as a Fixed Firm Price (FFP) contract. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06, effective 12 July 2021. This procurement is being issued under NAICS code 721110 (Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels) and PSC Code V231 (Transportation/Travel/Relocation �Travel/Lodging/Recruitment: Lodging, Hotel/Motel) with a small business size standard of $35,000,000.00. Interested vendors agree to hold the prices in its quote firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for the closing of this RFQ. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT. �Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.232-18 is included in the solicitation and will be incorporated into any resulting award. Payment will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) application in accordance with DFARS clause 252.232-7006, Wide Area Workflow Payment Instructions.� �
