Description
The 501st Combat Support Wing has a requirement to install Anti-Vehicle Cable Barrier along�the�perimeter fence at RAF Molesworth, United Kingdom. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Notice to Offerors(s)/Suppliers: General Information: The scope of work involves, but is not limited to: reinforcing identified sections of the perimeter fence with approximately 1,368 linear feet (LF) of anti-vehicle cabling, with deadman anchors rated at 7.5 tons (T) at 30 miles-per-hour (mph); reinforcing sections of the fence with approximately 4,111 LF of anti-vehicle cabling, with deadman anchors rated at 2.5T at 30 mph. Installation of five removable bollards rated at 7.5T at 30 mph at the perimeter gate opposite the public lane leading to main entry control point. �All cables, deadman anchors, and bollards must be installed to be compliant with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-022-03. �Please refer to attachments for more details. Completed works must comply with the Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS) or British Standards. �Where British standards conflict with American standards, the more-stringent standard shall take precedence. Offerors must be Authorized Persons, in accordance with UK Ministry of Defence Joint Standard Publication (MoD JSP 375), Management of Health and Safety in Defence Volume 3 Chapter 2: Common Requirements. Site Visit: A site visit �is contingent upon offeror interest, no definite date has been determined yet. See Clause 52.236-27 Alternate I within the solicitation for more information.� Interested vendors must submit names of attendees no later than 3�September�2021, to allow coordination and issuance of temporary base passes. �Interested offerors should submit no more than three attendees. �Attendees must have a valid government-issued form of identification, and consent to a background check. At a minimum, attendees must supply identification that lists: Full Name Date of Birth Citizenship Make and Model of Vehicles Vehicle Registration Number Driving License Failure to provide any of the request information will result in refusal of base access. � Should a site visit occur, the designated meeting point will be the Visitor Control Center immediately outside of the RAF Molesworth gate. Place of Performance: RAF Molesworth Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom, PE28 0QA RAF Molesworth is located approximately 85 miles / 90 minutes north of London.
