- PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT SEQUOIA AND KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS 2-YARD TRASH DUMPSTERS RFQ No. 140P8621Q0073 The National Park Service (NPS), Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, located in Fresno County, California, has a requirement for dumpsters. The intent of this solicitation is to obtain quotes for ten (10) 2-yard trash dumpsters to be delivered to Kings Canyon National Park. The dumpsters/container must be 2 cubic yard capacity, designed for use with front loading trash compactor trucks, flat topped and equipped with a sloped counter/balance lid, lids must be one piece and free of any additional access hatches or doors, lids must either be self-latching or be equipped with a manual latching mechanism, lids must be manufactured to be safely operated by one person, container and lid must be made of steel; 14 gage sides, 12 gage floor, and 12-14gage lid. In addition, container must have gusseted front loading fork channels constructed of a minimum11 gage steel, container must have a drain hole and drain plug, container must not have wheels or casters and shall be equipped with skids, container interior shall be painted with rust inhibitive primer, container exterior shall be painted with enamel paint, and the paint color must be spice brown or comparable in color. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only. All responsible sources with Small Business status may submit a proposal which, if timely received, will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332439; the small business size standard is 500 employees. Award selection shall be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price. All work shall be performed under a single, fixed price purchase order. The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about August 31, 2021 at SAM.gov. The prospective Offeror is responsible for periodically checking the website for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT: Offerors shall be required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. Offerors will be required to complete online Representations and Certifications at the SAM website.
