- Description
- At this time the contracting office is in the process of revising requirements and aims to create another amendment to better define what is required and create salient characteristics for the requirement that more accurately describe the need. This amendment will only serve to extend the solicitation period and do so before the solicitation would otherwise close. Another amendment will follow on 2 September 2021 to change the description and make stated changes to the requirement, otherwise the solicitation may need to be canceled and acquisition effort be delayed to the next fiscal year. In house discussions are on-going at this time for the revision of this requirement. The questions period will also need to re-opened as this may represent substantial changes to the requirement as a whole. Questions will be accepted until 7 Sept 2021 @ 1200 CEST. The solicitation will be extended until 10 Sept 2021 @ 1000 CEST. The 52 Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) is requesting the purchase of African Swine Flu Sanitation Kits. The kits will be used to disinfect freight for African Swine Fever/Flu. Cleaning stations must be able to accommodate: Tractor Trailer Combinations 30-60 feet, Refueling trucks, 4-50K Forklifts, Aircraft loading vehicles 25-60K, Tactical Vehicles, Non-Tactical Vehicles, Aircraft pallets (108Lx88W) height will vary depending on type of loads, Communication/Electronic material, and large containers. Due to local regulation only Virkon-S And Vet 1 Super are authorized for use. Item Description: For this effort the overall system needs portable as a primary concern and able to be stored on Aircraft pallets sized length 108in by width 88in and height 91 in. Up to two Aircraft pallets may be used to store the system to include pressure washers, berms, and water reclamation system or pump. The pressure washer and pump system also needs to able to function independently of a fixed power source and for this effort should be gas powered. (Unleaded or diesel only.) We are looking for a deployable system with minimum sustainability requirements. As part of the second amendment to this solicitation please see the Questions and Answers 2, PDF document as an attachment to this amendment. Funding has now been marked as available for this effort. 1. Portable pressure washer mechanism. Item will pump chemical solution from primary tub to spraying attachment, allowing chemicals to be sprayed onto cargo/equipment.
