- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Network Contracting Office (NCO21) is issuing a Pre-Solicitation Announcement under full and open competition to provide subscription-based service for updates, reviews, and continuing education resources for pharmacists. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 (VISN 21) requires an online subscription to a drug information database that offers continuing education credits to all Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians in the VISN 21. This database will provide drug information to support clinical decision making and continuing professional development and learning. The contractor shall provide 24/7 online web access to the database subscription as stated herein for staff at facilities in VISN 21. Access shall include onsite, remote work areas via IP recognition, offsite, and via mobile devices (via Apps or mobile websites). The commercial off-the-shelf subscription must include: Evidence based and peer reviewed drug therapy reviews and updates; Available to read online or to be printed in PDF format; Covers current developments in health care news that matter to pharmacists; Continuing Education (CE) videos and resources (unlimited); Easily accessible database for all completed CE certifications and training records; Learning system tools to include online testing, personalized accounts to enable participants to complete CE courses, have access to tests scores, and keep online records of CEs earned; Administrative tool to allow managers to track system usage and test results of their employees; Provides ongoing technical support for administrators and staff by email and phone. Eligible and interested vendors should download a copy of the solicitation and attachments from the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov ) to submit quotes.
