Description

Sole Source Award to Mitel Software Assurance (SWA) and Support.� See attached Limited Source Justification & Approval (JOFOC).�� BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS: The Mitel Software Assurance is a manufacturer�s original equipment subscription service on Mitel software products that entitles access to: 1) Software updates for patches and fixes; 2) New software releases for enhanced functionality; and 3) Mitel Technical Support resources which includes call-in, web ticket, and Mitel Knowledge Base support. Integration of these services are essential to keep the Forest Service�s telephone systems current to industry standards and assure the most current level of security is maintained. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: The procurement is for Mitel Software Assurance (SWA) and Support for the Forest Service�s Mitel 3300Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Systems. This procurement is required to maintain reliability and security of the Mitel 3300 Systems purchased and currently installed throughout the Forest Service. This small purchase will allow the Forest Service to deliver voice series that best suits the needs of the numerous offices throughout the Forest Service. This justification supports the purchase of Mitel software on a sole source basis. requirements for the solution require an Enterprise Application Platform to build, deploy, and host Java applications and services, quickly and flexibly. The Bill of Materials (BOM) for specific details and quantities may or may not be realeased upon request and is sensative in nature.� The�BOM and SOW may be�available to only formally authorized/certified by the manufacturer to resell software and annual support to the federal government on an informational basis, upon request.
