Description

This is a notification that Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to Black Diamond Advanced Technology, LLC (CAGE 6VVF0) under the authority cited in FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This sole source acquisition is being conducted under the authority of the simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items at 41 U.S.C. 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a) for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The proposed action is for TACLAN Field Computing Devices - Wearable to match existing systems already in place. Black Diamond is the exclusive manufacturer of the FCD-W in which the cables and hub required is proprietary in nature. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111 with a size standard of 1250 Employees.� THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if bonafide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical capability information, which shall demonstrate contractor�s ability to complete effort within required time. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received no later than 1000 AM EST, 9 September 2021. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. If no valid responses are received, an award shall be made to Black Diamond Advanced Technology. �
