- The purpose of this ammendment is to attach the contractor RFIs along with supporting drawings. *****Note:�The attachments of Bldg. 3 are used for references for the work to be completed�inside the Bldg. 9. They are almost identical and it will help contractors see the work that needs to be completed.� ******* ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Puerto Rico Air National Guard (PRANG) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for the Renovations of Bldg. 9 at the 140th Punta Salinas Installation located in Toa Baja PR. The scope consists of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work. The primary purpose of the project is to Renovate Building 9. This repairs and upgrades to the some areas of the building envelope inside and outside, roof and partial interior of the building. electrical infrastructure (explosion proof electrical devices), Lighting distribution, Fire Alarm and Detection systems, new finishes inside and outside, doors, roof system, and exterior paint coating. the repair of the apron pavement, spalls, joints, and drainage. Place of performance is at Punta Salinas Installation, Toa Baja PR 00949. Magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Construction/contract completion time is 180 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The proposals will be submitted electronically, and bid opening tentatively take place on 24 September 2021�at 10:00am. The evaluation factor is price.
